IPC between EasyTrac64 and 3rd party application works similar to a named pipe, i.e. both applications must define the same communication ID, see chapter Player Settings.
EasyTrac64 acts always as IPC-Client and the 3rd party application has to provide the IPC-Server. To connect the IPC-Client to the IPC-Server click the 'Connect IPC' button in the tool-bar of the Player Window. If the connection was successful then the green IPC-Led in the Status Panel lights on. If there is no connection then please check/try:
(1) the IPC-Server is running
(2) IPC-Server and IPC-Client use the same ID
Note: the ID is
case-sensitive
(3) switch off/on the connection on Server side and try the connection again
If there is a connection then data can be send to the IPC-Server by using the appropriate buttons, see Player Window. EasyTrac64 will send the current selected line either from the log-file window or from the filter-result window.
The data which will be sending to the server can be manipulated before by using of integrated decoders, decoder profiles or data processors, see chapter Player Settings.
