2.6.21 Select Area

Via hotkey 'F10' an area can be selected in the log-file window or in the filter-result window for further processing. The first click of 'F10' selects the begin-line of the area. This line will be displayed with black background. In order to cancel this selection click 'ESC'.

In order to select the area, go to the desired end-line and click 'F10' again. The following dialog gets opened for choosing the desired action.

[1]  Filter Panel
- the selected area will be copied into the filter-result window, i.e. the current content will be replaced

[2]  Main Panel
- the selected area will be copied into the log-file window, i.e. the current content will be replaced

[3]  Clipboard
- the selected area will be copied into the clipboard
Note: the number of lines which can be copied into the clipboard is limited to 1024

[4]  File
- the selected area can be written into a file

[5]  Decoder
- the selected area will be sent to the current activated decoding

[6] Tool-1 … Tool-3
- the selected area will be sent to the appropriate external tool
Note: if no tool application has been configured the corresponding button will be disabled
